About Me
I'm Kyle Park, a sophomore at Stanford University studying Economics and Philosophy. I was born in California (LA), lived most of my life in South Korea, and attended The Lawrenceville School in New Jersey. I currently split my time between New York City and San Francisco.
I always had a passion for sharing and storytelling––be it through sports, public speaking, singing, journalism, and more. I'm interested in exploring the intersection of technology, finance, and philosophy. I'm also deeply involved in civic engagement work and youth activism around voting and elections.
On this website, I would like to share snippets of my school life, projects I'm working on, my thoughts on current events, and connect with you all through other interests like reading and poetry.
All of us embark on incredibly exciting and turbulent journeys filled with a collective goal to navigate the unexpected arcs of our lives. As Russian poet Anna Akhmatova points out, "each of our lives is a Shakespearean drama raised to the thousandth degree." I hope by exchanging our stories and unraveling our thoughts, we can embrace drama and diverse friction points, ultimately finding peace within ourselves.
